Moving a Single File

Overview: The following tutorial explains how to move a single image from one album into another inside of your Photobucket account.

Requirements: You must be a Photobucket account holder. You must already have uploaded content into your account. You must already have created sub albums within your account.

Steps to Take:
  1. Open the Photobucket site at http://www.photobucket.com

Enter your username and password at the top of the page, then click the log in button to log into your Photobucket account.

  2. Select the albums & upload button from the menu at the top of your album.
  3. Locate a file that you would like to move into another sub album. Click on the move link that is directly above the thumbnail image.
  4. From the drop down-menu, select the album that you would like to move your file into.

Note: Moving your file will break any direct links that you have made to forums, message boards, emails, etc. It will also cause slideshows and remixes to break as well.

  5. Click on the Move button when you are ready to proceed. A 'Files moved' message will appear at the top of your album when your file has been successfully moved.
