Deleting a Single File

Overview: The following tutorial is a step by step guide on how to delete a single file from your Photobucket account.

Requirements: You must be a Photobucket account holder. You must already have content uploaded into your account.

Steps to Take:
  1. Log into your Photobucket account at http://www.photobucket.com
  2. From the navigation bar at the top of your album, select the "albums & upload" tab.
  3. Click on the "delete" link that is above the thumbnail for the file you would like to delete.
  4. A message will pop up saying that you are about to delete your photo. If you still want to do this, click on the "OK" button, or "Cancel" to opt out.
  5. A "File deleted" message will appear at the top of your album when your content has been successfully deleted.

Note: Please make sure you have a backup of your content on your personal computer. Photobucket cannot retrieve images once they have been deleted.

  6. You can also delete a file from the full-size view page. Simply click on the trash can icon above your content.
