Deleting a Sub Album

Overview: The following tutorial is a step by step guide on how to delete a sub album from your Photobucket account.

Requirements: You must be a Photobucket account holder. You must currently have a sub album created in your account.

Steps to Take:
  1. Log into your Photobucket account at http://www.photobucket.com
  2. From the navigation bar at the top of your album, select the "albums & upload" tab.
  3. Select the "trash can" icon next to the sub album that you would like to delete.

Note: Deleting a sub album will break the links to any content in this album that was previously linked from Photobucket.

  4. A window will pop up asking you if you are sure if you want to delete this album.
  5. A message will appear at the top of your page that says, "Album deleted".
  6. If you see a message that says "Please delete everything from that album first" instead of the message as indicated in Step #5, you will first have to move all of the contents of this album into another sub album, or delete all of the files before you will be able to delete the sub album.

Note: You will also need to delete any "nested" sub albums and any associated images from those albums before you will be able to delete it.
