Setting Up Flock For Photobucket Integration (.7.x)

Overview: The following tutorial is a step by step guide on how to set up the Flock Web Browser for Photobucket uploading integration.

Requirements: You must be a Photobucket account holder. You will be downloading and installing the Flock Web Browser.

Steps to Take:
  1. In your current Web browser, type the following URL into the Address field. This will take you to the Flock download page.

  2. Please take a few minutes to read about some of Flock's features on this page. When you are ready to download this application, click on the 'Download Flock' button at either the top or bottom of the page.

    Note: The download button is the same for both PC and Mac operating systems.

  3. Save the application file to your computer. Once this installation has been completed, double-click the 'Flock' icon from your desktop, or run this program from the folder where you chose to download it to.

  4. With the Flock browser window now open, click on the 'Pics' icon at the top of the Flock toolbar. This icon is directly to the right of the 'house' icon.

  5. The 'Photobucket Upload Bar' will now be expanded on the top of your browser window. Simply click on the arrow next to the 'Flockteam' text to continue with the set-up process.

  6. From the drop-down menu, select 'Set Up an Account...'

  7. From the 'Photo Accounts' menu, select Photobucket from the list.
  8. Click on the 'Sign In' link.

  9. Enter your registered Photobucket username and password here.
  10. Click on the 'Login' button.

  11. A message will pop up asking you if you want to allow Flock Web Browser to access your Photobucket account. Select 'Yes' to continue setting up Flock for Photobucket integration, or 'No' to back out.

  12. A message will pop up telling you that you have granted Flock Web Browser access to your account.
  13. Close this browser window, or click on the 'Continue' button so the application can finish the authentication process.

  14. The 'Photobucket Upload Bar' will now reflect that your Photobucket account has been added to Flock. You are now ready to start uploading!
