Choosing a Theme

Overview: The following tutorial explains how to set a theme in your album. Note that with the addition of themes, if you did not have a background color set in the Album Setting section of the Account Options page, your Photobucket albums have the "Classic" Photobucket theme.

Requirements: You must be a Photobucket account holder.

1. Open the Photobucket site at http://www.photobucket.com

   Enter your username and password at the top of the page, then click the log in button to log into your Photobucket account.

2. Navigate to the album whose theme you want to change.

   Note: Each album can have its own theme.

3. Click album themes in the secondary menu.
   
   Note: You can also click edit beside the theme name in the Share this album panel on the left side of your album pages, then select the Choose a theme tab.

   The Choose a theme tab displays with your Current theme selected.
   

4. Choose a category from the drop-down list, and scroll through your choices.

   OR

   Enter a search term, and click Search.
   

5. Click the theme you want. A preview of the theme displays.
   
6. Click Save to apply the theme to your album. A message displays when the theme is saved.

   Note: Click Customize the theme or adjust your link preferences to display the Customize your theme tab for the selected theme. See the Customizing a Theme tutorial for details.

7. Apply the theme to your other albums, if you choose. Or, click Skip this step if you do not want to change the themes in your other albums.
