Creating a Group Album
Overview: The following tutorial explains how to create a group album in your Photobucket account. A group album allows multiple users to upload and share from a central location. Group albums may be useful for sporting events, concerts, family get-togethers, etc.
Requirements: You must be a Photobucket account holder.
Steps to Take:- Open the Photobucket site at http://www.photobucket.com
Enter your username and password at the top of the page, then click the log in button to log into your Photobucket account.
- Select group albums from the main menu, and then click create group album.
- Enter the required information on the Create a Group Album page.
- Group album name - The name of the group album. Optionally, enter a description and select a category or categories. Categories help identify your content if you want it to be 'featured'.
- Custom URL (OPTIONAL) - Enter a custom URL so your group album easier to find. Choose the Notify… options you want.
- Viewing Rights - Choose whether your group album is public or private. Anyone can view a public group album. Set your album to private and add a password to restrict users who may access the album.
- Contributor Rights - Choose how users can add files to your group album. You can allow files to be added immediately or you can approve files before they are added.
- Use the Invite form to invite people to your group album. Or, click Skip this step to invite people later.
Important! The From field in this form uses your registered Photobucket email address. If your email address is not correct, update it in your account options prior to sending emails.
- Review the additional controls on the left side of your group album.
Share this album – Displays the (custom) URL (if you entered a custom one), allows you to share your group album, lets you show off your album by asking Photobucket to feature it, provides a link to the group album options where you can change the group album settings, shows album views and provides a link to the group album stats, and shows your album theme.
Recent uploads by - Shows you any Photobucket user who has contributed content into your group album. Click the Invite people button to invite people to your group album.
Tags – Allows you to tag images in the group album.
