Renaming a Sub Album

Overview: The following tutorial is a step by step guide on how to rename a sub album inside of your Photobucket account.

Requirements: You must be a Photobucket account holder. You must currently have a sub album created in your account.

Steps to Take:
  1. Log into your Photobucket account at http://www.photobucket.com
  2. From the navigation bar at the top of your album, select the "albums & upload" tab.
  3. Click on the "edit" link that is associated with the album side bar.
  4. On the album edit page, click on the "pencil/rename" icon that is associated with the sub album that you wish to rename.
  5. Enter a new name for your sub album.

Note: Please do not include special characters in the name, such as @`~$#%,. You will also want to avoid using the word "banner" in your sub album names as there are possible browser and firewall security settings that will prevent this album from being visible.

Note: The use of spaces in sub album names may cause issues when linking content off of Photobucket.

  6. Click on the "save" button when you are satisfied with your changes.
  7. A window will pop up warning you that renaming the album may cause direct links, slideshows and remixes within it to break. Click "OK" to continue.
  8. A message will appear at the top of your page that says, "Album renamed."
  9. The newly renamed sub album will now be available to you from the side bar in your album.
