Adding Descriptions

Overview: The following tutorial is a step by step guide on how to add descriptions to all types of content in your Photobucket account.

Requirements: You must be a Photobucket account holder. Although there is currently no limit on the amount of characters you can include in a description, please keep it under 500 in order to avoid any potential display issues. Described content in "Public" Photobucket accounts are searchable using Photobucket's "Find Stuff" feature.

Steps to Take:
  1. Log into your Photobucket account at http://www.photobucket.com
  2. From the navigation bar at the top of your album, select the "albums & upload" tab.
  3. Click on the thumbnail image for the content you wish to describe to access the fullview page.
  4. Beneath your file on the fullview page is where you can add a description.
  5. Type your description into the field. Although there is currently no limit on the amount of characters you can include in a description, please keep it under 500 in order to avoid any potential display issues.
  6. Click on the "OK" button when you are satisfied with your entry.
  7. For images, you can add a description on most of the "tagging" screens throughout the site.
