Uploading Using Flock
Overview: The following tutorial explains how to upload images into your Photobucket account using Flock.
Requirements: You must be a Photobucket account holder. You must already have downloaded, installed, and configured Flock for Photobucket integration.
Steps to Take:- Open the Flock web browser. If you did not log out of your Photobucket account after you completed the setup, your account displays at the top in the Media Stream. (Click the Open Media Bar icon
if you do not see the Media Stream).
If you logged out of your Photobucket account, click the key icon to open the Accounts and Services sidebar, click Photobucket in the Media Sharing section, then log into your Photobucket account.
- Click the Upload icon
to open the Flock Photo Uploader.
Note: You can only upload JPEG, PNG, GIF, and BMP files using this method.
- Drag photos to the Uploader or click the Choose Photos icon and select photos. Thumbnails display for images that are in the upload queue.
- Edit your images and add descriptions as necessary.
- Use the drop-down beside the Upload button and choose Log in to Photobucket (account name). The Photobucket Login page displays in the Flock browser.
- Log into your Photobucket Account, then go back to the Flock Photo Uploader.
- Click the Upload button in the Uploader to upload your image(s) to your Photobucket account.
- Choose your Upload settings:
- Choose Do not resize photos to use your Photobucket upload options. See What are upload options for information.
- Choose Always resize the longest side of photos to and select a size to use the Flock Upload options. Make sure this size is SMALLER than your Photobucket Upload Options, or your image will be resized based on the Photobucket Upload options.
- Choose to Skip album selection to upload to your root album, or choose Add photos to an album, and select an album.
- Click Upload. A success message displays when the upload is complete.
- Click Open the Mediabar or Back to Uploader to close the message.
