Creating Slideshows
Overview: The following tutorial is a step by step guide on how to create slideshows inside of your Photobucket account.
Requirements: You must be a Photobucket account holder. You also must already have images uploaded into your account.
Steps to Take:
- Log into your Photobucket account at http://www.photobucket.com
- From the navigation bar at the top of your album, select the "create slideshow" tab. You will be taken directly to the slideshow creation page. From here, you will be able to create your slideshow!
Note: The slideshow will be saved into the album that you are in when selecting the "create slideshow" tab.
- Click on the images that you would like to add to your slideshow. If you have sub albums in your account where you would like to add images from, simply use the album drop-down menu.
Note: Video files cannot be added to a slideshow and animated gif/.swf files will only display the first frame.
- Choose a style from one of the icons on the right.
- Choose a size (small, medium or large) from the drop down menu beneath the styles.
- A preview of your slideshow will begin to display as images are added.
- Click on the "view full size" link to see the actual size of your slideshow. Do to framing restrictions on the page, "Medium" and "Large" slideshows may not preview at 100%.
- If the images that are added have titles given to them in your album, they will display associated with the image here as well. You can also choose to add a new title to an image or edit an existing one as well.
Note Click on the "clear all titles" link to remove all titles from the images added to your slideshow. This will not affect the titles in your album, however.
- To remove an image from your slideshow, simply click on the red button on the bottom right corner of the thumbnail.
Note: To rearrange the order of the images in your slideshow, simply drag and drop the thumbnails to the left or right.
- When you are satisfied with your slideshow, click on the "3 save slideshow" button.
- Add a title to your slideshow and click on the "Save" button. Titles are optional here.
- Your slideshow is now available in your Photobucket album for sharing and linking around the web!
At this time there is no way to speed up or slow down a slideshow.
Some general limitations:
Free Accounts: 30 images per slideshow.
Pro Accounts: 50 images per slideshow.
