Removing Links From MySpace

Overview: The following tutorial is a step by step guide on how to remove a Photobucket link from your MySpace Profile. This tutorial applies to any direct links that you have set up, or any content that you might have sent to MySpace via the Photobucket 'share' functionality. The process is the same for removing images, videos, remixes and slideshows.

Note: Although this tutorial is specific to MySpace, the same principles can be applied regardless of which website you are wanting to remove your links from.

Requirements: You must be a Photobucket account holder who has set up a direct link, or has used Photobucket's 'share' functionality.

Steps to Take:
  1. Log into your MySpace account and click on the 'Edit Profile' link at the top left of your page.
  2. Locate the HTML code for the link that you wish to remove from your MySpace profile.
  3. Select the code and right click (ctrl+click on Mac). Select 'cut' from the drop down menu. You can also simply highlight the code and click on the 'delete' button on your keyboard as well.
  4. The field will be empty once your HTML code is successfully deleted.
  5. You will need to click on the 'Save All Changes' button at the top or bottom of the 'Profile Edit' page in order for your changes to take effect. Your Photobucket link will now be completely removed from your MySpace Profile.
