Overview: The following tutorial is a step by step guide on how to browse for images, videos, and myspace icons using Photobucket.
Requirements: There are no requirements to use this feature. This is open to both account holders and non-account holders.
Steps to Take:
- On the blue navigation bar at the top of the page, click on the "find stuff" tab.
- On the "find stuff" page, the following sections are available for browsing content:
Top Categories
MySpace Icons
Recent Images
Recent Videos
Popular (Digg)
- Each section will have different categories for searching content.
- Click on the "more top categories" link for additional content.
- Click on a category to begin browsing!
- A total of how much content with the keyword will be displayed. If there happens to be a Photobucket user whose album is the same name as the keyword, click on the "view Username's album" link to see their content.
Note: You will only be able to view a user's album if their account is set to "Public".
- A list of subcategories will be available for additional browsing.
- If you are browsing for images, your results will show up on top of the results page. Related videos for the keyword will be available at the bottom of the page.
- Click on any thumbnail to see the full size view of the content.
- The "Full Size" button will expand the content to the actual pixel dimensions. This may or may not be larger than the content on this page, depending on size the file was uploaded at.
- The "Send to mobile" button will allow you to send the image to your mobile device to use as wallpaper.
Note: Currently this is only available to users in the United States.
- The "View this album" button will take you into the Photobucket user's album where this content is located.
- The "Send to my album" button will allow you copy the image into your own Photobucket account.
Note: Sending content to your album will save the original file into your album. In other words, this content will not be "linked" to your account. This is only available for images at this time.
- Click on the "back", "more results" or "next" button to return to view more content that falls within your original search criteria.
