Sharing Content to Facebook.com
Overview: The following tutorial explains how to share an image, or video, to your Facebook account using Photobucket.
Requirements: You must be a Photobucket account holder. You must have a registered Facebook account. You must already have content uploaded into your Photobucket album.
Steps to Take:
- Open the Photobucket site at http://www.photobucket.com
Enter your username and password at the top of the page, then click the log in button to log into your Photobucket account.
- Select the albums & upload button from the menu at the top of your album.
- Find an image, video, remix or slideshow that you would like to share to your Facebook account. Click on the "share" link above the thumbnail.
Note: This can also be accomplished by clicking on the "share" button on the full-size page.
- From the list of share options, click on the "facebook" tab.
- Your content will display in the preview window. Click on the "Share" button when you are ready to proceed.
- Enter your registered Facebook "Email" and "Password" into the fields. Click on the "Login" button when you are ready to proceed.
- If you have not yet registered for a Facebook account, or you would like to take a tour of their features, please click on the appropriate link.
- Add a comment to your post if you want, but this is optional. You can also choose to email the file to someone from this page as well.
- Click on the "Share" button when you are ready to proceed.
- The message, "This URL has been posted to your profile" will display when the content has been successfully posted to your Facebook account.
- Your file is now viewable in your Facebook account!
